ABOUT ME

Hey! What's up?! My name's Bryn and I'm 21 years old. It's probably a bit of an obvious one, but I love travel and anything to do with it. My view is that our world is here to be explored, I don't want to spend my time seeing the same old town every day, I want to get out there, meet new people, forge new relationships and explore new cultures.

I just moved into a caravan with my dad as well, so I guess I'm now traveller by name..we prefer to call it the holiday home, permanent vacation in this place! That said, I currently work at a cocktail bar but am planning a grand scheme to travel the world, or as much of it as I can, for as long as I can with as little money as a grand.

PHILOSOPHY

The way see it life is too short to be spent stuck in a dead-end job that you don't gain any fulfilment and enjoyment from. The world is ours to explore and we shouldn't be afraid to do something. I don't want to be weighed down by money constraints, I'd rather live a simple life with great people.

So far, I haven't participated. I'm hoping to get involved in couch surfing very soon though. Unfortunately I don't have a couch available for others to sleep on..but I will be a very nice guest!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the Eiger in Switzerland (biig, scary mountain) when I was 15, becoming (as far as I'm aware) the youngest person to do so.

I also had open heart surgery in 2008 to repair a diseased valve of mine..I'm all good now though!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my experiences in having heart surgery - possibly not much demand for this, but it's something I know quite a lot about, having experienced open heart surgery in 2008. If you're having/had heart surgery or you know someone who is, talk to me :). I can tell you about coping with it and living life after it!

I'm eager to learn any knowledge that anyone would like to pass down to me.
