About Me

Fluency in Spanish
Learning calisthenics

Easy going, sarcastic and addicted to sports (trail running, and just started with calisthenics) and traveling (camping, hitchhiking, etc)...
I dont like to be disciplined, although I feel this is the only way to reach what we want (even if its related to work, friends, sports, traveling, anything)...
I'm eager to meet people who can be honest and discuss their own perspectives, especially when they are different from my points of view...
I love electronic (psy, goa trance), reggae, MPB (brazilian popular music) and rock music...
for me, life should be a balance... not too much of work, not too much of fun (u will definitely get bored)...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently living in Sumbe, Angola. The house I live is quite big and its only me and my wife, therefore we can host around 4 people at most.

I've been in a lot of places in Brazil, and across the globe where I stayed in beds, couches, even floors of people who helped me...
I also did some camping in some beaches around here, and a lot in Australia (pretty much all over the west coast)...
about couchsurfing itself, I used a lot in Russia, China and Australia... all of the experiences were enriching... I met different, interesting people who showed me their cities, their way of living and thinking and helped me seeing the cities as locals not just as a traveler.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mount Roraima - my first true expedition on a mountain (8 days)

Kayaking and camping around Whitsunday islands. Never did both and it was awesome!

I was in a nightclub in Milan, and after that I left with two friends. In the middle of some street, they stopped to have a chat between them, but I, who was a bit drunk, kept on going, and started to sleep and walk at the same time (WTF, yeah, I have no clue how). Well, nobody saw it, and then BAM. The wall woke me up. HAHAHAHAHA I didnt know people could do that :(

Throat singing in Mongolia. Weird, but freaking cool.

Great Barrier in Australia

(bit more than 1 I guess ;/)

Teach, Learn, Share

Always take toilet paper (better yet, baby wipes) when traveling hahaha

Traveling alone and with friends are two very different things. On the first you will learn much more about yourself, and stop being afraid of being left alone, additionally, you will learn how to accept different human beings more easily. On the second, you will learn how to manage situations where opinions differ, but everybody needs to be kept together.

Traveling is like studying, the more you travel, the better you get. On my first trip, my backpack was probably weighing around 16-18kgs, nowadays a travel with less than 8, its just practice, as much as everything else.
