I studied analytic philosophy in university: dry and rigorous. But also exhilarating, for a certain kind of person.

I'm still interested in philosophy, though my enthusiasm is not what it once was.

Now I'm traveling around the world, meeting interesting people, telling them some of my strange (hopefully funny) stories, and learning about the places where they live.

I want to be a writer, I think.

I was born in Toronto, Canada, but I grew up in America.

Interests

I'm interested in nature, hiking and backpacking, cooking, maps, New York City, American, French, Indian history, philosophy, art.

But, most of all: books and jokes.
