ABOUT ME

I just graduated from law school and am taking a year to see the world before I start work in New York City. I have always been a "planner"--someone who has every single detail worked out in advance. But that has gotten really boring. I desperately crave experiences that challenge the "planner" intuition inherent in my personality.

Two words sum up what I am looking to get out of this year: spontaneity & saturation. I want to enjoy every moment, however random and disconnected they are. I want to see places through the people who dwell in them. I want to saturate in all the culture and energy that life has to offer.

I am a 28 (almost 29) year old gay man. I was born and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota. I went to college in Washington, DC, where I worked for 3 years after. I attended law school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have also lived in Oxford, England; Los Angeles, California; and New York, New York.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My brothers and I biked 800 miles from Portland, Oregon to San Francisco, California. We did it in 10 days and it was the most amazing experience!
