Grew up north of Dallas, moved to south TX about 11 years ago and I can't seem to find a reason to move. I live close to South Padre Island which is like my home once the water gets warm, and yes...there IS surf in Texas. I work in Mexico, which can be intresting at times. I've been playing guitar since I was 10 and music plays a huge part in my life, as does fighting (kickboxing since 14, MMA since 18). Taking the title for "most important thing in David's life" are my 2 boys, who are a mirror image of myself....which is kinda scary to some poeple!
Lifes short, enjoy it.

Music, Movies, and Books
There isnt enough space to get all of my favorites down, but heres a few
Music: My all time favorite band is Pantera, I was lucky enough to see them 2 times before Darrell got shot. Aside from them my tastes range from Tool to Barry White. Love old school rap (NWA!), the new stuff doesnt do it for me, though. And even though its really "uncool" I'm unashamed to say I love the 80's "hair" metal bands (Crue, Ratt, ect..)
Movies: a couple of my favs are The Big Lebowski, Half Baked, City Of God, Crank, Delta Force and of course any of the Pantera home vids.
Books: I dont even know where to begin on this one. I give pretty much everything a chance aside from theose "romance" novels. The best I've recently read was The Herion Diries by Nikki Sixx.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sons showing intrest in everything I love, it amazes me how somethings truely "in the genes". Dimebag's solo to "Floods" live, Tool on the Lateralus tour. Waves breaking inside Dolphin Cove (only happens during hurricanes/tropical storm.)
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching as much as I love learning. I'd like to learn as much as possible the short time I'm alive. As for teaching anyone intrested in guitar, drums or bass I can keep occupied for hours.
