CURRENT MISSION

We live in a school bus we built into our home/studio. On the lookout for interesting places to park our house...places to plug in to electric and water are a plus.

ABOUT ME

WE both recently left our (long time) positions as full time volunteers for an arts based activist group in northern Maine called the Beehive Design Collective. Hoping to change gears and see the country, we bought a schoolbus, removed all the seats (and bubblegum) and then built it into our new home/studio on wheels. We are pretty self sufficient, we come with our own kitchen (and we are both great cooks, make our own kimchee and yogurt, brew our own kombucha), a sewing/crafting studio, an office, a bedroom and a composting toilet...but we have not managed to save up the money to put in our solar panels yet so being able to plug in would be really helpful, and although we do have our own water storage it is also great when we can plug into water as well. We have an amazingly delightful dog who lives with us, her name is Akari and she is medium sized, well behaved and friendly.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although we do not have a couch per-se...we are always interested in meeting folks for coffee wherever we are...since we travel with our kitchen we can even share a meal:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far we have work traded a few places while living in our bus and have enjoyed the experiences we have had doing that. We are new to couch-surfer so have not made any connections here as of yet.
