To travel and have fun
I'm Brian a 19 year old Engineering Student at the University of Maine. Enjoy travelling so I saw this as a great opertunity. Love soccer, have played it most of my life. Enjoy just relaxing and enjoying the experience that I get put into
"Be all I can be" seems to be the generic philosophy however but I think this is a great place for its use. I want to challenge myself. I don't want to sit in Maine my entire life and not learn anything about anyone. I enjoy traveling and putting myself in different situations. Why do I live my life? For the fun of living? Life is fun. I like living life on the edge without going over.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am just wanting to participate by traveling and spreading the lovely culture of Maine. I want to become more cultured in other cultures and just would help with the exchanging of various culture. Whether that culture be American or simply Mainerd culture is up to the experience.
From what I have seen it looks like a great experience. I think
Soccer, Lacrosse, Swimming, working on computers, relaxing. Reading is occasionally a hobby, but I would rather work on a puzzle or Sudoku. Listening to my music and talking on AIM is also a fun hobby of mine.
Music, Movies, and Books
As nerdy as this is sounds I love all the superhero movies. Spiderman, Superman, Batman, like most men I grew up with them so they bring back old memories. Pleasantville is another favorite because of how deep it is. For the more romantic movies, 10 Things I Hate About You. For music I'm into alternative rock mostly, something that has a beat is also good, I like to groove from time to time. As for books I read fantasy, Harry Potter is a favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Ireland was the best experience of my life thus far, want that to change though. Also lived in Iceland for 4 years when I was young so thats a fun fact. Haven't done that many AMAZING things but I would love for that to change.
Teach, Learn, Share
My experience in Ireland, the experience of living near lobstermen and seeing their whole experience right now. Father in the navy, so have travelled to Iceland to Maryland to Indiana and finally got caught up in Maine
