About Me

Road tripping down the west coast of North America to make adventures & art & friends. Seeking driveways to park in and guides to new places and people to enjoy a nice meal with!

Please visit my website at to find out more, and check out my facebook/instagram accounts by the same name (neverendingwhat) too.

I believe myself to be very easy to get along with, friendly and curious, love having conversations about anything and everything. I take a lot of pictures and do a lot of reading and writing. I love to try new foods, play board games, wander with no place to go.. I really enjoy most things as long as it is in good company. However I am also mostly an introvert and often need time to just be with myself.

'if you want to be happy, just BE happy' You are the only person who is going to be there for your entire life, so you may as well get along. Live life the way you best see fit, not the way you are told is appropriate. Whether it be to get a job and a spouse and kids in a house, or to wander spontaneously across unknown lands to meet kindred souls and learn about the world, the only person who makes these decisions should be you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the next few months I am living in my camperized van as I drive down the coast. Sometimes I have people with me, sometimes I am alone. All I really seek is a safe & legal place to park my van and maybe access to a shower and kitchen and laundry. I am totally self sufficient in the van, but if you have an extra bed, it would be a nice treat!

In Vancouver I share a home with many people and little space, so I have yet to host anybody. But I totally support the idea of sharing and opening up to strangers and think couchsurfing is an awesome thing. When I am surfing I take care to be an easy and pleasant guest, and am happy to make friends and hangout if the host is able to.

I have surfed a few times, all within Washington & Oregon, and I had great experiences. I generally trust that people are as willing to help and connect with me as I am with them, and so far have not been disappointed.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't list these things, lets just have a conversation about it :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen the Crooked Bush in Saskatchewan, it is a mysterious patch of trees which grow twisty and knotty like a witch's forest, for absolutely no apparent reason. Across the road, they grow straight as can be. I have visited a few times during different seasons to take in the bizarre qualities of this little-known place of wonder.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share some photography and art knowledge.. I can teach multiple methods of bookbinding/making and printmaking. I will probably try to send you mail or get you to send mail to somebody you love.

I would love to learn to cook/bake your favourite foods.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am currently carrying with me a small collection of my favourite books & zines, as well as some art supplies and ideas. I would love to make something together or get you inspired or even just get you talking about something you really feel passionate about.

Countries I’ve Visited
