ABOUT ME

I began this profile back in 2009 when I was first getting into my first big travel experience. Unfortunately I didn't go this route and utilize this profile much. I hope to change this.

I am big into comedy and love stand up. I am also very Intersted in hearing people stories and experiences and local history.

I have a background in Classical Studies (Greek and Roman History), but currently I work from home for an insurance company.

I am currently looking to change careers and become a registered nurse. I hope to utilize that career to travel and help those abroad.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My goal with this site is to meet new people from around the world and gain cultural experience. I want friends I can reach out to overtime and learn about their lives, and eventually visit eachother.

I have such a wide variety of interests that I do not think this box can hold it all. I am pretty much open to anything and am willing to give anything a try.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to take a walking path in Istanbul that was leading beside the palace. After roughly 30 min or walking we hear from this gated fence. "You there! It is forbidden to be here. Come to our voices now!". As I approached I had the scale a cent barrier and climb down a little slope and there were two military guards at the gate with SMG guns pointed at me. I say "am I in trouble?" And they respond "no there are drug addicts in that area we were worried about your safety" they were some of the nicest people I met and they took us through the grounds and told us stories of their experiences.

Hmmmm. I never really considered myself a teacher, but any questions asked or interests shown I will express what I know.
