ABOUT ME

I'm dying to get exploring and travelling again, have been in london for nearly two years now having lived in scotland for a long time , but now feeling a bit of wanderlust again and the need for lots of experiences in the outdoors , warmers weather and overhwelming scenery for a bit to escape the madness of london.

I work in the development /education sector , very interested in international development issues,sustainable development issues and refugee/migration issues.

My major passion is dance , particularly african and contemporary dance forms anad I have studied these in west africa and in london currently.

I love travelling, but don't get time or have enough money to do as much travelling as I would like

PHILOSOPHY

I'm very open to new experiences and exploring new cultures. I particularly love learning new dances and music from different countries.

I believe in living life to the fullest everyday, my friends would say I try to do too many things , but I love the diversity of experiences that are possible in life and I try and taste as many as possible.

I always search for the creative elements in life and seek out artists and those who are challenging social injustices and issues in the system through their artistic work or their way of living

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have always worked in community development , currently working for a children's refugee project and teaching young people. have lived in different cooperative communities , eco houses and enjoy living with people who have a passion for creative arts and working on sustainable development

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

none with counchsurfing, but whenever I'm travelling I've had amazing experiences particularly when travelling in W.africa when people have been so hospitable when they have had so little that I was overwhwelmed by peoples' generosity
