ABOUT ME

We're Caitie and Katy. Caitie goes to UC Santa Cruz and Katy goes to UMaine, both in the USA. We're studying abroad right now in Ankara, Turkey at Bilkent University. We're fun, outgoing girls. We live in an apartment in Tunus, Ankara with one other girl and two guys, all of them exchange students as well. Our apartment is pretty centrally located. 5 minute walk to Tunali, 20 minute walk to Kizalay. We have 2 couches. We're great cooks, love meeting people, going out, and exploring new places.

Music: EVERYTHING!!! hiphop, country, rock, folk, techno, jazz, blues

Movies: not really picky here either. we hate scary movies. romantic comedies are our favs, but we also enjoy a good action movie.

Books: Katy loves mysteries, especially by Harlen Coban. Caitie likes comedic novels and historical fiction. we're both in love with David Saderis.

we're pretty adventurous girls. we can show you how to fly by the seat of your pants and go with the flow. we haven't been in Turkey for very long, but we can share everything we've learned so far about this amazing and unique country.
