Overview
About Me
Graduate student for social and environmental justice.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Being a graduate student, this is a financially-efficient way to travel. I get the added benefit of meeting cool, new people along the way!
Interests
I preferred being outdoors.. Nature hikes, trail running, and biking are activities that I engage in regularly. When the weather gets cold or rainy, I turn indoors to practice yoga. Respect for the environment is important to me and I have chosen to be a vegetarian in order to better practice environmental sustainability. Being said, I love to cook nutritious, veggie-friendly meals.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favorite artists include: Aesop Rock, Alt-J, Amy Winehouse, Black Keys, Bonobo, Bon Iver, Chet Faker, Chrome Sparks, the Doors, Dr. Dog, Elliott Smith, Glass Animals, Gorillaz, Manchester Orchestra, Modest Mouse, Radiohead, the Strokes, Sufjan Stevens, Toro y Moi, and the xx.
I don't watch too much television or movies; however, when I do, I prefer independent documentaries or films. I read books suggested by NPR or by my professors. My favorite author is David Sedaris.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am more than willing to cook and clean in exchange for a place to sleep. Additionally, I can assist in household errands, pet-sitting and/or baby-sitting.
