I'm 25 years old. I live in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. I'm a substitute teacher, so my job allows for plenty of time to travel (I take teaching assignments that I want, so I basically make my own schedule).

I've lived in South Korea for a year and a half teaching English as a Second Language. I've backpacked all over South America and SE Asia. I also taught in Trinidad at a Canadian International School for a little bit.

Anytime I have a little extra cash I need to use it to travel. It's a curse and a blessing!

This is my first time on the Couchsurfing website. I've never tried it before, but what a great way to meet locals, and not spend all your money on hotels!
