About Me

To explore, learn and grow.

I'm from Sydney but I've been living in London for a year. I studied music and I work as a bartender so I get to meet new people everyday and take time off to go to festivals and visit different places in Europe. I want to explore as much of this beautiful world as I can! After London I'd like to move somewhere a little more foreign and learn another language.

Life is what happens while you're busy making plans and it is certainly too short to waste at a job that gets you down. Work to live, and live to play. Enjoy every moment - you only live this life once!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Right now I can't host anyone but if work permits I may be able to catch up with some people. I'd really love to join some language communities and learn a second language.

None yet!

I love music and travelling. I love hearing stories from other travellers and the excitement and wisdom that they gain from their explorations.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Seeing the birth of one of my nephews is definitely high on the list, and the other week I watched the Rolling Stones play live at Glastonbury on my birthday. I've been lucky enough to work at some major festivals and my favourite part of that work is walking around backstage on showdays and hearing the roar of hundreds of people excited about something I have helped to make happen. Moving to a new country without knowing anyone or having a home or job lined up is a pretty exhilarating task to set and complete. I've done that twice and I'm sure I'll do it again! I'm kind of a last minute girl and I like the adventures that come with that lifestyle!

Teach, Learn, Share

One day on the train I had a wave of anxiety hit me. I took a deep breath but for some strange reason, instead of exhailing and releasing the 'bad' energy, I swallowed the breath, sending a massive ball of energy right back through my system. The wave of anxiety was now a wave of positive adrenaline that flowed through to my toes and fingertips, giving me a most beautiful sensation. I had discovered how to create a natural high for myself from fear. Try it sometime, it was like electricity!

I'd love to learn another language. Suggestions anyone?
