Overview
About Me
I'm a wanderer with roots in the bay area trying to meet as many people and have as many new experiences as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To find places to sleep between shifts, after shows, and to meet the many diverse residents of San Francisco.
Music, Movies, and Books
Books - Science Fiction, Fantasy, Historical Fiction, Theology & Mythology
Movies - Not much I dislike, but viewing enjoyment depends greatly on the mood. I get very engaged in "slow-paced" movies, i.e. The Revenant or Last Knights. Always down to watch good animation or almost anything with subtitles.
Music - Primarily lo-fi hip hop/funk beats, math rock and jpop/jrock, but I can get down to just about anything. Technical skill impresses me greatly no matter the instrument.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I decided that the "routine" life of your typical American wasn't doing it for me, so now I've embraced a nomadic lifestyle with an emphasis on trying to learn as much as I can about myself and the people I come across, and to dive into other cultures to gain greater understanding of human life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've lived and worked beside people from all walks of life, and take pride in making friends with anybody. Most of my experience comes from trying to empathize with what moves and motivates people. I'm a strong ENFP and have both a spontaneous and laid-back personality. I aim to provide good company, conversation, and vibes to all.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories about people ranging from northern Washington to southern Louisiana. A unique perspective developed through years of empathy, hundreds of acquaintances, and just a few lifelong friends.
