About Me

And Benita Champs!

Benita and Callum

Callum - Hey, I'm Callum. I studied music (composition) and law at university. I like photography, reading and learning.

Benita - I finished my degree in History, French and now Teaching, and now work at a high school as a teacher. I've spent time in both France (Lyon) and the US (Boston) on exchange. Je voudrais amélioer mon français! I love all things Beethovian, chocolaty and above all else MEDIEVAL (my honours thesis was in french medieval history)

Still working on it. Chill out, think a bit, drink a bit, nap a bit, drink tea.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Callum - I've hosted a bunch of people in the last few years, I think it's a great project. I've been to a number of events organised by the community in Melbourne. We used couchsurfing to meet lots of great people when we went travelling in 2011.

Benita - I've just started being involved, Callum introduced me to it! It was great meeting so many people from so many countries in 2011.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

umm... I haven't done enough. The most amazing thing is wanting to do so much more...

On our trip in 2011 we did some great things; climbing a bunch of cathedral's towers in England, going to the Edinburgh Festival, taking a slow train through Wales, visiting where Beethoven wrote his Eroica Symphony, seeing early mediaeval wall paintings, eating Weiner Gulash, drinking Czech beer, Belgian waffles, German Bratwurst, visiting Aachen Cathedral, running to catch busses, sitting in the aisle of the ICE, seeing the Krumlov bears...
