About Me

I am a flexible and adaptative person. I love to learn, try and discover.

Respecting and protecting environment is part of my lifestyle.

I really enjoy to exchange experiences with people and getting to know them with long talks about all kind of stuff. I'm curious and open minded.

I am also very expressive I think...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because you never get to really know the place until you've talked and lived with the local people. Forget what you've learned and open new eyes on what appears to you. Be suprised.
As a traveler or a host, couchsurfing always has given me incredible experiences and unforgetable encounters.

As every biologist, nature and wildlife is a passion. So I guess being outside, no matter what's the weather. Camping, hiking, scuba diving, biking...

I LOVE to exchange music, novels, poetry... Discover more and share my top artists of the moment. I learned a bit of djembe and drums and I really like to play music with other peaple.

Also, I like to laugh a lot!

Music, Movies, and Books

It's very difficult to chose my favorite music since I love some many different things. Ska music, reggae, old rock. Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Planet Smashers, System of a down, The Offsprings, Bomba Estereo... Of course a lot from Quebec like Jean Leloup and Les Colocs. A new discovery: Gotan Project! It's pretty good!

Le Petit Prince, that's a book I'll always keep in my bookshelf. Jack Kerouac's novels, Milan Kundera's too. Recently, I have been reading a lot of Gabriel García Márquez.

Movies: American Beauty, The Shining, Fantastic Mr. Fox, One flew over a Cuckoo's Nest...
Oh! I am defenitely a Simpsons' fan!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied blue whales on a sailboat in the Sea of Cortez, and saw them so close I couldn't believe it! This was my child's dream made come true.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn portugese and improve my german; learn how to drive a boat...

I can teach you all the secrets of the traditional recipes of my province, Quebec. I've been practicing with my grand mother since many years...

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music, novels, travel experiences and adventures, long talks...
Cooking and sharing a good meal is a must.
