About Me

"I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list"

I'm just a typical Aussie bloke really. Love my sport, sharing stories over a beer or two and hopefully turning that stranger you just met into a friend.
I've got a positive outlook on life and a strong curiosity that keeps taking me to all the wonderful parts of the world to learn new cultures, meet new people and share in unforgetable experiences.

“We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open.”
— Jawaharal Nehru

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have surfed on couches and hosted before but not through this organisation or anything official.
By signing up to couchsurfing though i'd love to offer a place to stay to any traveller interested and would be forever grateful to anyone who wouldn't mind taking in a travelling Australian who's looking to get the most out of his adventures.

I have hosted and been hosted several times in the past but as I stated earlier not through this organisation. My experience was very much personally organised through creating friendships and bonds with fellow travellers in hostels or tours and maintaining that contact through such things as facebook. This has allowed me to host several overseas friends back in Australia and gratefully the favour has been returned when I'm on my own travels overseas.

Travel would have to be number one
Sport would then follow closely behind
I've got a strong interest in modern history as well.
