About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To conquer the world! I'm going to try to check out every country I can before I die.

ABOUT ME

Well I'm a first time traveler and loving it. I'm always keen to see new places and meet new people. I'm easy going, don't make set plans, and can get along with anybody. Plus I'll sleep anywhere. Love a good party as well, so I'm hoping to meet like minded people on that one!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is keep an open mind, be ready for anything and never be afraid to try something new. Even when some dodgy looking Vietnamese guy hands you a glass of snake blood! lol. One of my favorite sayings is "I don't know where I'm going but I'm on my way". I think that sums up my attitude towards life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far just going to surf, but I'm definitely going to start hosting as soon as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet, but I've been traveling for a year and a half and I've been told I'm a good travel buddy. In Sudan I was often invited to peoples houses to stay one or two nights and I loved it, so I guess you could say I've sort of couch surfed before.

Interests

Love the outdoors. I take any chance I can get for a hike, climb, or any other out door sports. Especially if I haven't tried it before.
I'm interested in history and culture as well, old cities and buildings are always on the list for me.
Mostly I just want to experience something new on my travels, like everyone else.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock and reggae music, but lately I've heard some pretty awesome cultural music in Africa, plus some cool stuff from other travelers. Music has pretty much become another thing I keep an open mind about and I like hearing new stuff. I'd be happy to swap music with anyone out there who likes what I have.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things I've seen and done have been on the trip I'm currently on. Trekking through the Himalayas to Everest base camp was awesome. Bungee jumping from the bridge at Victoria falls scared the shit out of me! Running with the bulls in Spain was the rush of a life time. Scuba diving in the Red Sea was amazing.
