About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To feed my soul by traveling, experiencing various cultures, and connecting with everyone looking for a good time. And I mean that in the least sexual way possible. This isn't tinder.

ABOUT ME

I have a great intuition. I love art and nature (especially the ocean), but most of all, I love food.

PHILOSOPHY

1) Feed your soul
2) you make your own happiness. These have made life so much easier.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well I'll be honest with you: A huge incentive is because it's free (besides the 'thank you' gift), but I'm also on here because you meet other people who are also into traveling, which is always so great and helpful. And so far it's been safe so I have no complaints.

Interests

acting, dancing, singing, playing guitar, being outside, 420 friendly, sports, FOOD!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm reading the Game of Thrones books and watching the show right now. I really like any kind of music, but I'm not so much into heavy metal. As for movies, I have a bookshelf full of DVDs, so it's kind of hard to pick a favorite. I guess if I had to choose I'd pick American Beauty, Crash, Across the Universe, the Departed, Young Frankenstein, Sound of Music, Superbad, Harry Potter. Just to name a few.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote an article about what it's like being a woman of color in American society. It is being published this month.

Teach, Learn, Share

This is one of the best tricks for cutting an onion:
Hold it horizontally, chop off the end, then cut horizontal and vertical lines along the end you just cut (making a checkered pattern if you were to look at the cut end straight on) then flip the onion back on its side and cut off your first layer of perfectly diced onion in seconds.

If you're in Seattle, make sure to go to Kerry Park in Queen Anne or Volunteer park and look out of the tower. The views are amazing. And, as I'm sure people will tell you about, you must go to Pikes Place Market. Make sure to look up some cool hikes around the area. There are ice caves about a 30 minute drive from Seattle.
