Overview
About Me
I study History and Anthropology in Bogotá, Colombia. I lived six months in Canada, where I learned english, and I´ve studied Italian for three years. I would also like to learn latin, greek and german. I love traveling, specially backpacking and, as you can imagine, I also love meeting and learning about different cultures and traditions. I play the guitar and I´m learning to play the harmonica. I´m also into sports like boxing, swimming, cycling and soccer. I love reading, playing video games and watching movies, but I also love adventure and different plans like camping or going for a beer in town.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I´m on Couchsurfing because I would love to meet people from arround the world, learn from them, and helping them have a great stay in Bogotá. Also, because staying in someone´s couch offers a close-up of the country I´m visiting and it allows me to have a more "realistic" experience of the place I´m travelling to.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music includes Rock, blues & jazz. I specially love classic rock like Led Zeppellin, Pink Floyd, The doors, Jimi Hendrix, Rolling Stones, the Beatles, Queen, The Whoo, Guns and Roses and more. My favorite blues players are Muddy Waters, Sonny Terry and Lightnin´ Hopkins. My jazz players include Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Gerry Mulligan and Chet Baker. I also love more recent artist like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Alt-J, Chet Faker, Rawayana, Petit Fellas, Soda Stereo, and more…
Like I said before, I also love reading. I read mostly history, sociology, anthropology and philosophy, but I also love to read literature. I like latinamerican literature with authors like Julio Cortazar or Jorge Luis Borges. My favorite books are "De sobremesa" by José Asunción Silva, and The Odyssey by Homer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I was member of an archaeological excavation in the historical center in Bogotá and it was truly amazing. I´m also editor in chief of the student´s history magazine in the university where I study.
