Hi you guys! :)

I'm Camilla, a 25 year old girl, going for woman as soon as I reach 26y. (That's the magic number I hear...)

I started working right after high school, and now about 8-9 years later, I'm sort of realizing that it's not gonna be the way I life for the next 40 (!!!) years.

I feel like Couchsurfing is the optimal way to travel and get around the world, with the huuuge plus that we meet people all over that are sort of the same as us.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found out about Couchsurfing some time ago, thought it sounded like the best thing anyone has come up with in a while and I immediately joind. After that I have only been looking at the e-mails coming in about once a week, without interacting with anyone wanting to come to Stockholm and look around for a while. Life really does get away from you, right in front of your eyes, when you have a full-time job and think that is more important that meeting new people from all over the world.

Interests

I got intrigued a couple of years ago to learn how to play the guitar. I've loved singing for as long as I can remember and since I got better fast (does not guarantee that everyone thinks I'm good) I have kept on going with it. Me and my live-in-love play together at my work, a second hand store with a café, every Friday and we usually get a couple of customers reacting in good and pleasant ways, haha :)

I also have my kittens Mizar & Pepper, Cornish Rex breed, that are sort of like our babies in the house, but they are growing fast and are gonna be real CATs soon. (They are growing up so fast!!)

We like to do acrobatics, yoga, a mix of the two, and anything else which is along the line of circus movements.

Lots more ofcourse, but I feel like you will find out for yourself if you choose to come stay with us for a couple of days :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Woodstock and 60s music, like Janis, the Doors, Melanie, Jefferson Airplanes and all of that bunch. Pink Floyd is a BIG favourite, a class of it's own, but I also love trance and psy music, going to local raves/danceparties in the Stockholm forests.

Not so much for books or movies, but I did read a good book in the near past, the Celestine Prophecy, WOW!

The movies that I do like, I sort of watch over and over again, some of those are:
Yellow Subarine, Waking Life, Woodstock (original documentary and Taking Woodstock), The Wall (from the Pink Floyd music), Fear and Loathing,The Great Dictator and ANY Alice in Wonderland movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided, for myself, that I really know what's best for me. Then trying to go for everything I want or feel is the right path for me. For sure!

Teach, Learn, Share

Meditation is a great way of both teaching yourself and others because coming to the core of one's self, is very helpful for yourself and every one around you.

Learing is something we're gonna be doing for our entire lives, most likely continue to do so after this life is over.

Sharing that together is a very important part of life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have a 2 bedroom apartment, quite small 67 kvm, with one livingroom and a balcony, that has been taken over by the cats. In Upplands Väsby, you have a pretty close connection to the inner city of Stockholm. From our house it takes 45 mins on foot/bus and then a 30 minute long trainride. But you also have a lot of nature to cover, there are a lot and closegrounded forests near my house.
