CURRENT MISSION

I'm going to sleep all over northern California in April and May 2013. I'm spending a couple months on the road to have fun, see some redwoods (and a bit more), swim in the ocean, and, oh yeah, there's this book I'm writing. Probably need to finish it.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 59 year old female who likes living in community and growing vegetables organically, as much as I like growing and changing. I do a lot of writing and am working on a memoir. My 22 year old daughter lives with me for now, and I enjoy hanging out with my 25 year old son - when he wants to hang with me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting started, but having a great time so far. The website is easy to use and my first host has been couch surfing for years. She said every experience was fabulous.

Interests

There's lots of music, books, wine, and movies I enjoy. I also enjoy swimming, walking and chatting, bird sighting, gardening, sewing, cooking, and writing. My favorite place to be is out of doors, or what I like to call "inside."
