Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to travel and meet new people. I have been hosting surfers from all over the world and met some of the coolest people on earth. Sharing my home and life on Cape Cod keeps reminding me what a beautiful place I live in.
It's way more than a free place to stay. It's connecting with people that you would likely never meet and being open to share your home, your life and sometimes your heart.
Art, music of all kinds, books,(you can never have too many), cake, trees, cemeteries, genealogy, stonework, construction, fossil hunting, camping, wool spinning, sewing, painting, rocks, fixing things, asking lots of questions, nature, singing, history, swimming (not necessarily in that order). Having as much fun as possible without spending money or poking an eye out.
Music, Movies, and Books
Anything with a happy ending

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Snorkeled with manatees in Florida, a cow pie fire in the Mojave desert, ants, clouds, tides, sunsets and rises. Muir Woods, walked in the footsteps of my ancestors in Ponta Delgada, view from the top of the dome on Sacre-Coeur Basilica, got caught in a rip current, Giant's causeway, Jonny's attic, I saw a bear in Ashfield MA.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to dig clams, make the sound of a mourning dove by blowing into your hands, blow a bubble with bubble gum, sew on a button, darn a sock, use a sewing machine, knit, spin wool on a spinning wheel, how to patch a wall or properly paint just about any surface interior or exterior and tell you where the best beaches are. I want to learn how to solder copper or weld anything.
