ABOUT ME

I am 25, spent the majority of last year working on the election and am currently working on an environmental campaign to you know, save the world from global warming! When I am not working I like exploring, reading, writing, drawing, cooking, hiking, riding bikes, playing sports but making up my own rules, playing cards or any board games, drinking good beer, smoking too many cigarettes and generally experiencing everything life has to offer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am super new to this project but I have definniiitely had the majority of my couches filled throughout my adult life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

May 2008
-nice, leathery couch in Chicago, my legs hung off the end
-yoga mat on the floor in Milwaukee
June 2008
-shared a bedroom in Milwaukee but had my own futon!
August 2008
-shared an air mattress in Milwaukee
September 2008
-shared a bedroom in Muskegon, Michigan, slept on the floor
October 2008
-slept on the best couch ever in Denver, Colorado...sooo soffft
November 2008
-shared a bed in Austin
December 2008
-yay! finally got my own room! slept on a twin mattress that had previously been used in a battered women's shelter in Austin
March 2009
-slept on an air mattress in the living room in Austin

I paid rent at some of these places, some of them I stayed for shorter periods of time and didn't. Obviously I am pretty open to any type of sleeping arrangement as long as there is no sleaze involved.

I can definitely teach ya what not to do! I can teach you how to canvass, minimal knowledge of tarot cards and dream interpretations, I can talk all day long about factory farming and I can make the best sandwhiches in the world. I can show you how to open a beer with almost any item, how to flip a quarter into a cup, how to kick a soccer ball correct style, how to do a cartwheel! I can train your dog, I can write your resume. Most importantly I am pretty skilled in the arena of staying positive.
