I'm a 50 something lady, that loves to travel and meet new people. I have just graduated with my BA. I live in the country on the side of a big hill that we call a mountain in the state of Oklahoma, in the United States of America. I am one of the poor people, and live without any modern facilities. That is, I do not have running water, or electricity as most Americans do.
Live is an adventure and should be lived to the fullest. I'm a happy person, that likes to laugh and have fun. No alcohol or drugs needed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I graduated in May of 2016, and decide to take as big of a vacations as possible on a very tight budget. While making plans for my travels, I discovered this site. I think it would be wonderful to meet people and stay with individuals during my travels.
Meeting people and seeing the culture of different lands seem to be a better idea then stay in hotels and going along with the tourist crowds.

I have many interests. Traveling and meeting new people is probably at the top of my list.

Music, Movies, and Books

Being that I have spent the last several years in college, I have not done much reading other than a textbook, and living without electric there is no need for a TV. However, for the most part I enjoy light-hearted stories, with lots of humor in both books and movies. As for music, I tend to listen to a wide variety.
