About Me

I am 15 years old and I am not planning on couchsurfing just yet. Next summer I am going to Ireland and the summer after that to Belgium. The summer after that is the summer before I start uni (I don't wanna go to Uni to be honest, but my parents do so I think I'l do tourism or journalism, since writing is one of my biggest passions) and I want to work as an au pair in Finland or volunteer in Camboya, I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm sorry for boring you and I will be updating this according to what is going on in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I suffer from some real bad wanderlust. I know I won't be using this until later on in life, but I just feel the urge and need to explore. I like couchsurfing and I like to see what is in here.

Interests

Traveling, reading, writing, dancing and singing (I can't sing or dance, but I have a lot of fun doing it).

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite books and movies are Harry Potter, by far. They are my life and this saga is what I grew up with. Also, there is this book in Catalan by a Catalan author "un haiku per l'Alícia" that has changed me. I read it a few months ago and it is from now on my favourite book ever (ignoring Harry Potter, of course). The writing, the ideas, the characters (specially Alícia), the dialoges... Everything. It has changed the way I look at life and love a lot.
And for music, I really just love it all. I love hearing different types of music of different cultures. I do have to admit that Alternative music is what I listen to the most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dealt with depression and anxiety and an eating desorder and now I am a happy person. I overcame my problems and there isn't a moment when I am not smiling. Also, one time I caught a football ball in the air just before it almost got me. Now, that's a memorable moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn the lenguages from the country I am going to, and not just play the English card. Also, I'd love (LOVE) to teach my own lenguages. I know how to speak Spanish, but I also know how to speak Catalan (I am from Barcelona, in Catalonia which is in Spain) and not a lot of people do. Not even people from Spain outside of Catalonia speak it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My stories, experiences, my laugh, my super-very-funny jokes and anything that involves talking! I do have to say though that I will be travelling mostly, but I am down to doing some chill talk. Also, I would appreciate A LOT if the host recomended me places to go to, not the famous places to go to, but places that are kind of hidden, where the actual heart of the city is.

Countries I’ve Visited

England, France, Italy, Spain
