I was born on the Big Island of Hawaii. Growing up, I've always wondered what it would be like to explore Japan. This dream of mines only intensified as I grew older. So, in 2017, I decided to turn my dreams of wanderlust into reality.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I prepared for my trip to Japan, I took a step back and observed what would give me a richer experience. Going with the route of living like a local and being hosted by the people of the area – It all seemed more interesting to me.

Rather than visiting popular tourist attractions, I'm more looking forward to visiting a Japanese convenient store. :D
