About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'd like to travel ... doing the work I do best: writing and helping people.

ABOUT ME

I have traveled the USA extensively and ended up in beautiful Carmel, California. I have also traveled Mexico and Canada. I was a professional musician for years and then went back to school. I still play guitar, write and sing and am working on my second book.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a pantheist, a pacifist, a lover of life and it's vast mysteries.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to offer my couch as a way of inviting people to explore this beautiful area from Santa Cruz to Big Sur. This is a paradise.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the 60's and 70's I traveled the country mostly staying with people I hitched rides with. I had a sign that read, "Farther Along." I went where the car was going. What a time it was!

Interests

Nature, music, women, writing, and my dog, Basil.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies that depict the subtle insanities of humanity: Off The Map, The Station Agent, Around The Bend. Music that moves me: Sally Christian, James Hurley, early Dylan. Books: Philosophy, psychology, and a novel here and there. I just finished "The Perfect Storm." Well written and a good story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wrote a book called "Love Letters of a Musician."

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a student of human behavior and have learned much about communicating, resolving conflict and letting go into the mystery. Yet, I give only solicited advice. Being a student, I am always learning from those I meet.
