To find complete and unfaultering happiness and share it. (cheesefest, I know...!)
Independent and always have been. Insanely curious about everything and, hense, am incredibly inquisitive. Hate to know of unknowns- I will buy and read a book on anything at all that sparks an interest.
I have just graduated with a Master of Arts (Honours) in Chinese and Linguistics and now have NO IDEA what to do with it but I am confident I will figure out my dream job one day...!
I have an image of what I would like to be and then there is who I really am. I don't think the two line up... I would love to be mysterious and interesting and know lots about lots. Instead, I think I lay my heart and myself out pretty quickly and I think I am easy to get to know.
I have never sat down and put into words my own philosophy. I suppose I am rather cliched in this department- I do try to take each day as it comes and always, always be happy. I don't think there is much point in doing things if you can't do it with a smile on your face and an open heart ready to embrace life.o
Music- I play piano, violin, guitar and just began teaching myself flute and ukelele before I left the UK. I also like all things Chinese- especially authentic Chinese food (of which I can make a couple of dishes). I enjoy listening to people talk- I can be quiet sometimes as I really do take things in. I am such a deep thinker and analyser and in my moments of euphoria it comes across philosophical (or, at least, I like to think so...!) I really enjoy writing but have to be in "the zone" (as they say) for me to produce anything worth reading. I am really interested in politics and international relations (mostly between China and the rest of the world). I am considering doing a Masters in Internation Business and Law.

Music, Movies, and Books
"We Need to Talk About Kevin", by Lionel Shriver. Ultimate best! Also, I have jumped on the band wagon and am enjoying reading the Millenium Trilogy by Steig Larsson. "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini- also a good one.

Lived in China for a while and went to university there. Quite an achievement for a country bumpkin haha :) I managed to vist around 15 different cities while there and I feel blessed for the opportunity.
