Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couch-surfer so that I can satisfy my travel bug! I've always had big dreams of travelling the world in a very real, connective way. The idea of taking a two week vacation from work to fly to some luxurious hotel is not attractive to me! I want to engulf myself in culture, learn new languages and customs and enjoy constant adventure! What a better way to do it than sleeping on someone's couch and hitch hiking!?

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm pretty all over the place when it comes to music. Country is the only genre that I personally don't vibe with but I respect it! I love going to concerts and festivals given that the majority of the artists are artists that I can jam out to! Some of my favorite artist are (but of course are not limited to): Flying Lotus (Brainfeeder roster), the TDE camp, Deftones, Bob Marley, MF Doom, Flamingosis, Andrike$ Black, pretty much all 80's-90's Hip Hop and West Coast OG rap, same for most 90's rock/metal/grunge, Danny Brown, Gorillaz, Jimi Hendrix, Suede the Remix God... The list goes on! I'm really into experimental beats, vapor-wave and future funk too!

When it comes to movies I LOVE horror, psychological thrillers and your original slasher or zombie apocalypse. I'm a little more picky about my action and comedy but there are plenty that I cherish. I also like documentaries, cartoons and fantasies too! Some of my favorite movies are: Killer Klownz From Outer Space, Akira, Friday and Resident Evil. On that note, I really love anime and gaming. Those conversations are best left for the hangout!

I like my books how I like my movies! I'll always love Goosebumps, feel free to judge. Stephen King will always be a favorite! I also really enjoyed Jeanne DuPrau's City of Ember series.

I'm willing to learn just about anything and once I've learned it I'm willing to share it! I'm very interested in learning new languages and recipes! I also love hearing other's stories and experiences because there are always filled with so much wisdom!

Anything I've picked up so far on this journey of mine. I've learned a lot about food preservations, farming and plant care. To animal (especially feline) health and behavior.
