ABOUT ME

I would hope that if you said to my friends "tell me about Caroline" that they would start laughing and think "oh boy, where do we begin?!!" I would also hope that my friends would ham me up to be an incredible person but only because that is what good friends do. I love to laugh, I love to explore, I love to search for meaning in everyday life. I am an independent thinker, but I value nothing more than my loved ones and hope that I can find more loved ones through my travels!

I love music, good food, laughter, and community. I spend my time enjoying Portland, traveling Oregon, chatting on the phone with friends and family, and spending time with my loved ones when I can! I am the only member of my family out in OR and have really learned independence and how the world can be both so big and so small all at once.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

In my first few months away from my Iowa home, a friend and I hiked to the top of Mary's Peak in Philomath, OR. Mountains to my left, ocean to my right, and I was overwhelmed with the realization that the world was literally at my feet. It was so amazing to see the product of my years of dreaming and my determination to see the world.

Another moment that was totally incredible, was in Salzburg, Germany when I studied abroad for a few weeks. It was a hot sunny day and the sun had not been shining for what seemed like an eternity. The park was covered in people all laughing and celebrating the day with friends and family and it was a beautifully peaceful way of enjoying my travels.
