I've been told by many, many people that I remind them of Ellen Page's character from the movie "Juno."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am brand new to this activity. My brother has hosted couchsurfers and loved the experience. I love meeting new people and I thought I would give it a try.
I love hiking, yoga and snowshoeing. I'm a movie buff, but not a fan of the big blockbusters. I love animals and volunteer at a local shelter when I am at home. Most of all, I like talking to strangers and coming upon adventures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Patch Adams gave me a piggyback ride one of the nights I stayed up with him on a ship. I've spent time with Fidel Castro. I've fallen off of a ski chairlift. I had a guy have a friend stand in for him on a date with me. Driving alone across the U.S. and Canada were two of the best activities I've ever done. What beats them all are the experiences volunteering in developing countries. Those are priceless.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach:
An archetypal, French personality test
How to snake a toilet (provided you have the equipment)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share all sorts of stories, plus some yummy recipes (which also happen to be gluten free)! I'll do my best to answer any questions (if you have them) about sociology, anthropology or clinical psychology. Thus far in Ireland, many locals and fellow travelers have asked about American politics.... We can have that conversation, too, if you wish! I can also share lots of love to any dogs in the vicinity. :)
Countries I’ve Visited
Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, China, Cuba, Dominican Republic, England, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Mauritius, Mexico, Netherlands, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Viet Nam
