Hi there!
I'm a very easy going and respectful person and love meeting other people to hear about their stories of travel, fun, and growth. I have done a lot of traveling myself and really enjoy hiking, biking, and anything else that's active and keeps me outdoors. Getting recommendations from others on where to explore or what to see is my favorite way of discovering new adventures too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing to get to know an area as if I'm from the area too. I love checking out restaurants and coffee shops, as well as being a part of any type of outdoor adventures and perhaps couch surfing could inspire places for me to see.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014, I rode my bike from New Orleans to Minneapolis along the Mississippi River, which was unsupported. The best thing I ever did on that trip was join the warmshowers.org group where I got to meet so many amazing people who were able to take me in for a night or two and show me around their town and offer me solid advice on bike tuning and touring. This kept me going and I finished the ride in under 2 months time. Along with all the other traveling I've done (climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, thru-hiking on the Appalachian Trail and the John Muir Trail, as well as trekking in Patagonia and the Himalayan Mountains) this bike tour was hands-down my favorite trip because of the experiences and the people I met along the way.
