I started traveling awhile ago and have come to love it. Always looking to broaden my horizons and learn more about this place we call home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been a way of life for me since 18. I'd rather stay in someone's home and have an exchange of ideas and culture than in a hotel. There is something about traveling to a new place and having a one one encounter with a person who knows the area, they give a perspective one may not have easily found otherwise. Also I find the people who are willing to open their homes to others have unique stories or adventures to share and I want to hear them! So let's sit, have a glass wine and a chat!

Interests

I strive to be learning and open to new things, simply because you never know where it might lead. I've recently discovered a passion for language and am now pursuing my degree in Linguistics. I enjoy chats about modern issues but also love to discuss historical events and recent books I've read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am scared of heights and it amazed me how one day I jumped off of South Point in Hawaii. It was the first time I was able to put a physical action to what I do mentally every time I hop a plane to go to a new place.

Teach, Learn, Share

Yes! My favorite category, I want to learn by teaching and vice versa to then be able share it.
Cooking is a perfect example of this, I would love to learn how to make traditional dishes or about regional fruits and vege, wherever in the world. In turn I can show you a few of my favorite dishes and the inspiration behind the flavor, still learning how to pair wine with meals so any help would be greatly appreciated.
