About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To ready for a trip to Eastern Europe to complete the research component in a Ph.D. (in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia); and to see more of the world-meeting interesting people
ABOUT ME
The journey of my life is continuing. I am beginning to see life as an adventure. Have two sons, who are continuing their education: Tom, at McGill in Montreal, Quebec soon to complete his Ph.D; and Jeff entering a Certificate of Teaching. I am looking forward to visiting Europe; having come from Korea, where I enjoyed teaching, World Discovery, at the English Village with Anne Hilty who referred me to "Couchsurfing". I am home in Kelowna, BC but not for long. Accepting an Internship with the "Coalition for Work with Psychotrauma and Peace" to begin my research. Looking forward to travel in Croatia, Bosnia and parts of Europe where I hope to meet 'fellow' couchsurfers.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in living for today, but also in sustainability for all beings, plants and animals on the earth; I am a tolerant, respectful person who wants to grow as a person in life long learning. I believe in non violent conflict resolution and decolonization.

Music, Movies, and Books
Steinbeck, The Pearl is a nice reflection of writing that I strive towards. I liked the movie, "beatrix potter" because she was a writer of children's books and a woman who made a difference; I also enjoy books about politics, psychology, historical philosophy and conflict resolution because I am in an Interdisciplinary Ph.D.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Raised two sons; Built affordable cooperative housing in my community; introduced a sentencing alternative for the criminal court; went on a mediation delegation to Russia and Poland; visited the UN mission in Bosnia with 40 Peacekeepers; passed my oral and written comprehensive exam in my Ph.D. in a subject matter that is close to my heart; was appointed to six government rosters in the Ministry of Attorney General and now am striving to become a professor of Political Psychology; went to Korea to teach English last year
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to teach children, middle school students and adults political psychology or subjects pertaining to the world around them and how it affects them.
I cherish life and the people who make up this earth and want to see and learn as much as possible (through many ways of seeing and knowing)
