I’m currently wandering and wondering around various countries, seeing a bit of the world during an extended break from work. I’m interested in different cultures, and hearing people’s stories. I’m also interested in yoga, dance, nature, mountains, sea shells, and those awesome MC Hammer style harem pants that you get in Asia.
I’m fairly quiet, I like food, but don’t drink much alcohol. I’m a non-smoker. I’m allergic to cats.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m trying to get away from the ‘us and them’ environment of the tourist trade. My most enjoyable and memorable experiences have been when I have met local people or stayed in local homestays, or with friends that I have met while travelling.

Favourite music is currently electro dance music, eg Bassnectar. Favourite movie is Crippled Avengers (aka Return of the Five Deadly Venoms). Favourite book... not sure. I’m currently reading Spike Milligan’s war memoirs, which are hilarious.
