To expand my creativity and get out there and learn from the world!

ABOUT ME

My life has been varied and unpredictable - so I luckily have never been bored! I've now reached a point where I have finally found a way to combine creativity and my interests in research and social change... and things are getting more interesting all the time! My main passion is live music - going to gigs, taking photos and making films of performances... I want to travel world via gigs and festivals, among other means, and document my experiences along the way! And I want to talk and laugh all the way...

PHILOSOPHY

Creativity is my passion, and how to bring that together with making a difference... and the best way to do that is by meeting and collaborating with people! Unexpected encounters lead to interesting results :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to Couch Surfing - but it has come highly recommended by friends! I was an avid hitch-hiker years ago, and loved the freedom, and experience of meeting new people - but not the unpredictably and uncertainty! This seems like a great way to carry on that idea in an open and transparent community... bring it on!

Favourite bands right now: Pixies, Melvins, Kylesa, Peter Brotzmann, Zu, Messien, QOTSA....

Favourite books of late: reading Northern Lights/Philip Pulman now, just read Killshot/ Elmore Leonard; also love Raymond Chandler, William Burroughs, Conan Doyle, Ray Bradbury, H.P. Lovecraft...

Films: wish I had more time to go to the cinema! (I don't even own a TV!) Best film seen recently was an amazing documentary about life in Indonesia called 'Position Among the Stars' (trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIuPiIJOTs8) one of the most beautiful and mind blowing films I have ever seen! Apart from that some of my favourite films are Sin City, Sergio Leonie classics (with Ennio Morricone soundtracks), The Thing (the one with Kurt in!) and Rear Window...

I played an air raid siren on stage in my mate's band at NojzFest in Slovenia... that was FUN!
