travel the world and learn as much as possible
"I realized we lose a part of ourselves when we aren't trying to get lost, but when we do, we often unlock doors of perception that we never noticed before."
I read this quote in a climbing magazine, and I think it's been ringing quite true in my life as of late. I'm a senior in university this year, and trying out many new things. So far I have ballroom danced, played jazz piano, raced a three-legged race, and won a flag football game. I hope to include couchsurfing on the list soon!
I'm passionate about engineering, and enjoy the theory, discussion, and application of it--my goal is to continue working on international engineering projects as a full-time job. My other major time sinks are rowing, running, reading, and spending time with my roommates. I'm always game for new experiences, I'm incredibly driven, and I love a good glass of wine and a great conversation. My favorite things are chocolate, laughing, hugs, books, and new friends.
I am trying to do the most I can with everything I am given.

there are three different ways to measure forecast accuracy, the first is mean absolute deviation, the second is mean square error, and the third is mean absolute percentage error. I was surprised to learn that the MAPE method is usually most reliable.
