I have explored various cities including Houston, San Antonio, and Galveston by bicycle. I recommend exploring by bicycling because it is a unique way to discover a place.

In Houston, the traffic is awful, the food is fantastic, the weather is generally good except for summers which should be avoided at all costs (June - September), the area just west of downtown is the hip place to be, and the museums are outstanding.
