ABOUT ME

I am a very active outdoors person. I like to get out and walk around, go for runs, read in parks, and enjoy my time when I am in new places seeing the sights. I love going out at night and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life on the edge between caution and recklessness. On that line is where I discover who I am and enjoy life to the fullest. To quote Ferris Bueller's Day Off: "I am not going to sit on my ass as the events that affect me unfold to determine the course of my life. I'm going to take a stand. I'm going to defend it. Right or wrong, I'm going to defend it."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed before and am looking forward to the experience, meeting new people i wouldn't otherwise have met.

I love to read, ski, run, mountain bike, rock climb, just about everything outdoors related. I am an avid history buff and enjoy having discussions with people on the subject and getting new insights

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had the opportunity to hike through Tuolumne Meadows into Yosemite Valley when I was younger. Along the way we hike onto a ridge called clouds rest, where the boulders were stacked as if they were billowing clouds. It was one of the most remarkable and beautiful experiences standing on these giant boulders perched on a ridge overlooking Half Dome and the entire Yosemite Valley.
