Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To boldly go where I've never gone before.
ABOUT ME
I consider myself to be pretty adventurous and I love to explore. I am well educated and love to have conversations with people who are independant thinkers and can see things "outside the box". Through some life experiences that I've had, life has become pretty precious to me and they've made me realize that life is short.. enjoy it while you can!
PHILOSOPHY
My goal in life is to be able to look back and smile, knowing that I did my best at everything. Life is so full of amazing things to experience, I am addicted to learning as much as I can about the things that interest me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have opened my couch up to the CS community and when I return to Canada I will share it with the people I meet on this site. (It is one COMFY-ASS couch)hahaha
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am brand spankin new to CS and I've never couch surfed,, but I am excited at the possibility of meeting some new people and maybe making some awesome new friends.
Interests
I am a fine arts major and have a diploma in fine arts from the Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver. Scuba diving, sailing, hiking and jogging are some of my hobbies and favourite passtimes,, (I've found that running is a great way to orient myself with new cities) Art and languages are two huge passions of mine and I'm just getting familliar with Italian,, It's very hard, but its a beautiful language. I'd like to learn more while in Italy.

Music, Movies, and Books
I LOVE bad movies.. I have a collection of B movies and kung fu movies at home and if you surf with me the chances are very good that I will share the funniest movies with you.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year I rode my bike with 4 of my friends from Kelowna, BC to Toronto, Ontario (4200 k's) for the Children's Wish Foundation.

This is a blog I put together for our ride and it talks about our trip and has a link to another blog where we have videos and pictures that were taken along the way.
The smell of red wine, fresh herbs and garlic wafting through a 500 year old building that once was the home to a bunch of monks in the south of france is still fresh in my memory. I cooked a pasta dinner for some friends and we sat on the roof of the house eating and enjoying a beautiful bottle of shiraz while taking in the french countryside.
I worked for 19 months in Dublin and have amazing memories of the friends I made there. Coming out of my work at 6 - 7am and seeing the waking city bathed in gold and orange from the rising summer sun. (I worked in a bar in the city center)
So many experiences!! I hope to make some more on the trip I'm on now!
Teach, Learn, Share
Anyone wanna make some art? I am pretty good at drawing (take a look at my pictures) and would be happy to teach how! :) I am not one to boast unless I have a definite reason to but I am also a fantastic cook,, so if our paths cross you might be in for a pretty awesome meal.
