Learning from mistakes - especially other people's. Always make it a habit to be on time or better still, early, for a flight. Personally I had a harrowing experience running a "triathlon" at HKIA while taking budget Airasia..gate 50, which was the very last gate on the other side of the airport: so I had to rush for internal airport train, run uphill on the escalator and the travelator..luckily I made the flight.
