À propos de moi

I work part-time as a web developer and am also studying music composition and computation arts at Concordia University.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I don't have super extensive couchsurfing experience, but I did couchsurf in Australia and New Zealand a while back, and used a similar community for camping on kind people's yards during a long-distance road biking trip.

I had forgotten about couchsurfing until recently when I started to plan for an upcoming trip, and thought it might be nice to stay with people instead!

Centres d'intérêt

While working as a web applications developer, I decided to go back to school and currently attend Concordia University studying Music and Computation Arts. I would love to write music more professionally! I am really into singing and playing fiddle. I also love winter sports and outdoor activities of all kinds. My favorite is probably surfing when I can stop thinking of sharks and crocs... I also love camping and campfires.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Recently I've been into tragic romance novels by female authors like Melissa da Costa and Virginie Grimaldi. Usually though, I like fantasy. My favorite is The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.

I am a bit of a classical music geek. I am trying to broaden the range of composers I listen to. Currently, my heart is set on Shostakovich.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have hiked through the Dolomites (Italian Mountain range) on Alta via 2, a high-level high altitude mountain trail. I found it incredibly rough but I love looking back on it and would want to organize something like that again (though I am a bit terrified of the pain)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I play a lot of music, so I'd be excited to sing with people, do some covers on guitar or piano, or even make up some songs. If you play violin or mandolin I can share some repertoire of traditional quebec songs.
I speak french, english, spanish and a little bit Mandarin so we could practice too.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I am very respectful and clean. I cook for people and do the dishes without being asked. I have a good sense of humour and also love playing board games so evenings are usually pretty fun and easygoing.

Australia, China, Costa Rica, England, Germany, Greece, Italy, Morocco, New Zealand, Spain, United Arab Emirates

Pays dans lesquels j'ai vécu
