I'm going to save up this summer and hopefully get to Southeast Asia in the fall!
Laughing is the best! I'm passionate about creating and performing as a theatrical clown. Road trips in my truck are the greatest, my siblings are my best friends, I love to travel and I love sandwiches!
All I know is that I don't know anything... I think
This life is a dream. Sometimes beautiful, sometimes tragic, always worthwhile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I did a road trip from Toronto, ON to St. Johns, NFLD in this beautiful country in the fall of 2012. I met lots of amazing people who let me stay on their couches and beds, I played games with some, drank and ate good food with others. I still can hardly believe this community exists. What an amazing experience! I can't wait to do more.
I'm finally in a place where I can comfortably host people at my place. I'm close to the airport. Lets meet!
I love to watch the sunrise and set on the beautiful prairies or sitting by a roaring fire with a beer in hand camping with my siblings and cousins in the mountains. I enjoy walking in the forest in the country or parks in the city. When I'm at home I like to strum away mindlessly at my guitar, read books and go to movies.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm really into the current alternative and indie music scene. I like it all though, anything from Jack Johnson to Marylin Manson, Coldplay to Tool.
I love movies! Superbad, Inception, Lost in Translation, The Matrix, Scott Pilgrim... if you see a pattern let me know cause I don't.
Books: Anything by Yann Martel and Mark Haddon for fiction as well as Lord of Rings and The Kite Runner.
In non fiction I just finished the Psychology of Sex.. pretty neat!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to see my friend in China. We went to his in-laws rice paddy farm and climbed a nearby little mountain. It was like a whole different world with the water buffalo and the different way the farmers lived. The view from on top of the mountain after trekking through the sub-tropic forest was spectacular.
One of my favourite things to do is going on camping trips with my brother and younger sister. One time we chased a bear down a road and into the spruce trees trying to take a picture. My best moment though was when we were sitting on the edge of a small lake listening to the hum of the tiny rain drops hit the surface of the otherwise calm water. I will never forget it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to make the perfect campfire. True camping is done in the Rocky Mountains, I can give you some pointers. I can show you a few chords on the guitar. I make pretty good scrambled eggs too.
I know a little bit about a lot of things but not a lot about anything.
