Hello! Hola!
I love adventures and I love making connections. I grew up in Sydney with a Latin-American family and I've had the privilege to travel a lot with family, friends and by myself. I consider travelling a real privilege and I am so grateful for all the wonderful and extraordinary experiences I've had so far in my life.

At the moment I am travelling around Europe until the end of October, sometimes by myself, and sometimes with my partner, Andrew, who is a wonderful, generous and kind human-musician.

At the moment I am really enjoying reading in the mornings and writing about my musings whilst on travel. I also love to go on long adventurous walks, I like the serendipity that is sometimes available with walking. I love knowing about the places I visit, in particular, about the kinds of fruits, vegetables and herbs that are grown in the places where I visit. And, I love love love discovering new music in the places I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never couchsurfed through couchsurfing before! Many of my friends have hosted and been hosted on couchsurfing, and they've loved the experience. So, I think I am ready for the experience.
In Sydney, I'm a student, so admittedly I am travelling on a student budget.
And I really like the idea of community which appears to be possible through couchsurfing, a global community.

I'd also love to be able to host people through couchsurfing when I return home, because I love the concept, and through my travels I have been very lucky to meet and stay with wonderful and generous people.

Books:
I love so many books! Through my studies I've read a lot of gender and cultural studies research, so a lot of really interesting academic articles. At the moment I am really enjoying feminist sci-fi. And, I am reading more Spanish literature so that I can practice my Spanish.

These are the filmmakers I've enjoyed over the past few years: Tony Gatlif, Emir Kusturika, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Agnes Varda, Claire Denis

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was fourteen I spent three months studying dance in La Havana, Cuba. I particularly loved learning Afro-Cuban dance. It was such an inspiriting, challenging and life-changing experience.
