ABOUT ME

I am 28 years old and grew up in York, Pennsylvania. I have many passions and hope to have a positive impact on this world. My hobbies include playing soccer, dancing salsa, playing music and cooking. In all of these things, I feel it is the sharing and relationships that make each activity amazing. I currently work online and have taken many opportunities to travel. I care about people and the environment. I am learning life is about stories, whether it is creating your own or hearing someone else’s. I love to make people smile.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to host someday, but at this time I am just surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing once in Istanbul. My host had a small crisis he had to deal with and was only able to host me for a night. Since then I have not stayed with anyone, but I have made friends at meet ups and chatting online.

Centres d'intérêt

I grew up playing soccer and drums and I love both. I have played drums in some bands and hope to meet other musicians to jam with and maybe perform with while traveling. I started dancing salsa because I love the music and the creativity that comes from dancing. I am passionate about social and environmental justice. Many things I do have a connection with trying to be a positive force in the world. Growing my own food is a way to connect with the environment and is an alternative to the current food system. I am learning Spanish in hopes to increase the number of people I can share stories with. I love storytelling and getting to know what inspires other people.

I love anything that can bring out deep emotion within me, whether is a movie that makes me cry, a song that makes me giddy, or a book that sucks me into the story where I can't separate reality and the story.
