Hey, my name is Charlotte, French girl, 24 years old.
I validated my diploma of 5th year (Master 2) of university preparing to be a researcher in Plastic arts in Bordeaux (where I am living since 6 years).

So, I decided to travel to discover new contries, new cultures and new friends ! This travels will be the outcome of my years of studies and what will allow me to know what I really wish to make and who I wish to become afterward.

I am really sociable and I love to meet new people, new cities and new food ;).

I don't research extraordinary nex experiences, just share the everyday life of persons ! I am a simple person there is something which is really important for me : laugh and learn everyday something new ! I am really active and the most little thing can fascinate me !

PS : I have a wonderfull boyfriend, so you have to know that I am not interested for any dating, just for meeting new potential friends :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I will travel alone, and I hope to meet and share with new peoples during my trip. And of course I wish that you can help me to discover your city :) it with the aim of avoiding a tourist journey which would make me pass next to the most beautiful things which constitute one city, a country, and which only the inhabitants can know !

Interests

So, I have many hobbies like arts (painting, drawing, practise the watercolor), books (I read a lot french and english-speaking novels - but not only -, crime novels and aesthetic/philosophical books). I love cinema and I did two works placement in this domain (one years with an association which organize every years a Festival about indendant short films, and two month with an association which organize two major events in Bordeaux : "Cinesites" (cinema outdoors) and "Cinéconcerts" (Projection of movies mute accompanied by musicians).
To resume, I love all which connection with the culture.

Furthermore, I really love cooking, take a walk, dance and discover the night-life of a city ! I appreciate biking, swimming, skiing, and so much more !

As I said, I love reading novels et crime novels. My favorite authors ? Jonathan Coe, Donald Ray Pollock, Hunter S. Thompson, Bukowski, Jane Austen, Gustave Flaubert, François Mauriac, and more still ...

About Music, I have no favorites because I listen many differents musical styles ! I love listen rock of the 60's, 70's, 80's ; Funk and R'n'b of the 80's ; pop and electric music, and I adore listen the 90's music in memory of my childhood ;)

About movies, I love many of them but I have some ploblems with horror movies ...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't claim to have doing something really amazing because for me there a lot of my memories which are amazing for me, but if I have to choose one thing, it could be in 2007 when I was 16 and I succeed to convince my parents (after 4 month of negociations) to let me go only with my friends in Paris to see the concert of the Red Hot Chili Peppers ! It was really memorable !
