ABOUT ME

I'm a fun-loving archaeologist who likes exploring, going out, travelling and thrill-seeking. Quite quiet until I get to know people, I'm generally friendly and easy-going.

Interests

I'm an archaeologist and have been for about 8 years. As an archaeologist I've worked in London and the UK mainly but also Romania, Jordan and Qatar. I specialise in Archaeological Surveying in North-West Qatar where I have been working seasonally for 3 years in 5-month stints. I quite enjoy cycling and juggling, sometimes at the same time. I've lived in London most of my life and enjoy the culture (museums and theatres) it has to offer. I don't think I'd live there forever. I'm half Australian (Mum's from Sydney) and have visited a few times but never lived there. One day I hope to spend a longer period of time travelling round Oz, probably on a Motorbike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Exploring and sleeping amongst the sand-dunes in Western Oman was one of the happiest and amazing experiences I've had. A fierce thunderstorm in Qatar was both beautiful and terrifying. Watching the sun rise over a Jordanian Wadi from a 12,000 year old excavated settlement was pretty amazing. Oh and absailing down a castle in Jersey was a great experience.
