About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am in Culinary School in Buenos Aires, making my dreams reality! I am trying so hard to learn Español, which is not an easy feat! I love nature and any chance to get out of this big city is welcome! : )
ABOUT ME
I was attending College in Charleston for 3 years wasting my time and quickly accruing student loan debt before I finally got the guts (and saved *almost* enough money) to move here to Buenos Aires and fulfill my 6 year old dream of going to Culinary School. When I walked into my first class here I felt like this is where I belonged, it felt great! Since that first day in August, though, I have gotten myself into a bit of a rut. Meeting people and "mejorando" mi Español has proven to be harder than I thought. So, I started looking for creative outlets and forums in which to meet people. While resentful at times of the way technology and the internet has oversimplified almost everything causing slight to moderate numbness of my brain, I am thankful for the power of which it provides an opportunity to meet people from all over the world.
PHILOSOPHY
Everything happens for a reason so try not to get upset about any one particular thing, because you never know what good could come out of it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
The first day I signed up for CS, I signed up for a camping trip. I plan on being active, hosting people when I can, and attending all sorts of events. I will be doing some traveling throughout South America in July-August (maybe/hopefully longer). I am open to meeting people along the way, posting about my experiences, and using others' posts as a guide!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sunset in Zanzibar with one of my best friends, leaning against a knocked down palm tree, drinking a cold Kilimanjaro, eating a $1 plate of fresh seafood, naan, and "thilli sauth", my skin salty and tanned from a week in paradise. THAT was a great chapter.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach cooking, how to plant a garden! I want to learn something artistic (painting/sculpture/photography).
